Grêmio Recreativo Escola de Samba Acadêmicos de Santa Cruz is a Brazilian samba school in the city of Rio de Janeiro, based in the neighborhood of Santa Cruz, in the west zone of the city. Among the samba schools of the Rio Carnival that have already paraded in Marquês de Sapucaí, it is the one that is located furthest from the Sambadrome, located on Rua do Império in Santa Cruz. It is currently affiliated to the Super League Carnival of Brazil and participates in the Série Prata, the third division of the Carioca Carnival.
