Leonardo's Horse is a project for a bronze sculpture that was commissioned from Leonardo da Vinci in 1482 by the Duke of Milan Ludovico il Moro, but never completed. The building was erected between 1897 and 1902 to a design by the architect Alfredo Campanini (1873-1926), known for his Art Nouveau and eclectic Milanese architecture.
