Civic Square is a public square in Xinyi Planning District, Taipei City, Taiwan, located at the intersection of Section 4 of Renai Road and Shifu Road, Xinyi District, adjacent to the Taipei City Municipal Building. In 1995, it was opened by the Public Works Bureau of the Taipei City Government, and the Taipei City Government also fixed the New Year's Eve party held in this large outdoor venue on December 31 every year. The civic plaza has multi-functional functions such as parks and roads, and the use of government agencies and organizations is free, but it must be applied for in advance with a business plan document, and public welfare and cultural activities are given priority.

The total building area covers 29,464 square metres in an open space of 115,000 square metres. It contains displays of Sun's life and the revolution he led, and is also a multi-purpose social, educational and cultural center for the public.
