Individual Sights in TainanSight 1: Tang De-Jhang Memorial Park
The Tang Te-chang Memorial Park is a memorial park in West Central District, Tainan, Taiwan to commemorate late lawyer Tang Te-chang.
Sight 2: Dongyue Temple
Tainan Eight Associations, commonly known as Yue Emperor Temple, is located in Tainan City, Taiwan, the East Yue Temple, the main worship of the Dongyue Rensheng Emperor, founded in the Ming and Zheng periods, by Zheng Jing in the Ming Dynasty Zheng Yongli 27 years (1673) formally built, for the earliest worship of the Dongyue Emperor in Taiwan, but also for the former Taiwan Fucheng Seven Temples and Eight Temples, Fucheng Eight Xiejing Temples one of the temples. On November 27, 1985, it was designated as a municipal monument in Tainan City.
Sight 3: 奎樓書院
Kuilou Academy is located in the Central and Western District of Tainan City, Taiwan, and its predecessor is "Kui Xing Tang" and "Zhong She Academy", which is listed as one of the four major academies in Fucheng along with Chongwen, Haidong and Penghu. Although it is called a seowon, it is a place where scholars regularly meet to discuss the history of books and study poetry, which is different from other seowon as a place for teaching and lecturing. In addition, it is also said that Kuilou College is a place for candidates to read their books when the college examinations are held, and these scholars may gather to discuss the examination questions and even current political affairs.
Sight 4: 原臺南縣知事官邸
The Old Tainan Magistrate Residence or The Clock Building is a historical residence in East District, Tainan, Taiwan.
Sight 5: Old Tainan Minister's Official Residence
The former Tainan Office Director's Residence is located in the East District of Tainan City, which is a city-designated historic site and was once used as the dormitory of the Tainan Director and the Minister of the Interior. Later, it was abandoned for a long time, and it has now been restored. Open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00-17:00 from May 107. The former South No. 1 Middle School teacher's dormitory at the rear is planned as a park to provide art, culture, and performance space.
Sight 6: 臺灣府城城垣小東門段殘蹟
The remnants of the city wall of the city of Taiwan refer to the city of Taiwan, which was established in 1788, and only some remnants are left in today's Tainan City, Taiwan. At the end of December 2020, together with the Dui Yue Gate, the Great South Gate, the Great East Gate and the Xunfang Fort, they were upgraded to national monuments through cultural review, and an announcement will be made in the future.
Sight 7: East Gate
Yingchun Gate, also known as the Great East Gate of Taiwan's Fucheng, is one of the 14 city gates set up in the Qing Dynasty, located in the East District of Tainan City, Taiwan, and is currently a national monument of the Republic of China, and it is also the largest existing city tower in Taiwan.
