The old Taichung Station is a station building used by the Taichung Railway Station from May 15, 1905 to October 15, 2016 before the Taichung Railway was elevated and opened to traffic. The old front station body is the second-generation Taichung Station rebuilt on March 31, 1917, and the old building (the second-generation station body), the front porch and the first platform were registered as second-class monuments (now national monuments) in 1995, and the second platform and the first-generation parking lot office were registered into the national monuments in August 2021; The old station was originally built in 1964 and is a historical building in Taichung City. In the future, the front and rear stations, the surrounding Taiwan Railway cultural assets and the 1.6-kilometer original railway barge will be preserved in situ, and the Taichung Station Railway Cultural Park will be established in combination with the surrounding related cultural assets.

Taichung Station Railway Cultural Park is a railway park formed by Taichung Station, a national historic site in Taichung City, Taiwan. The scope is the old and new railway space between Dazhi Road and Minzu Road, including the national monument Taichung Station, the commercial space of Taichung New Station and viaduct, the old Taichung Hou Railway Station, the No. 20 warehouse complex, the Fuxing Road dormitory (next to the No. 20 warehouse complex), the Taichung Service Office of the former Taiwan Railway Bureau Freight Service Headquarters and the Taichung Branch of the Changhua No. 1 Section of the Electricity Department of the Taiwan Railway Bureau. The north and south sides are connected to the Taichung Green Sky Railway, and are adjacent to the Cultural Assets Park of the Ministry of Culture, the Taichung Business Office of the Imperial Sugar Factory, the Taichung City Hall and the Taichung City Hall.

The Datun County Office is an official building in charge of Datun County, Taichung Prefecture during the Japanese Occupation of Taiwan, located in the West District of Taichung City (behind the Taichung Prefecture Hall). After the war, it was used by the military police and the military village, and the interior was rebuilt several times, and a fire in 1980 caused partial damage to the building, while the residents moved out in 2002, and restoration works began in 2017. Originally, it was planned to be used as a modern art museum together with the surrounding buildings after restoration, but after Lu Xiuyan took office for a few years, Chengyi Group signed a contract with the Zhongshi government to operate it.
