The Stadttheater Schaffhausen is a guest performance house. It is located on Herrenacker, in the centre of Schaffhausen's old town. From September to June, it shows performances in drama, musical theatre, dance and cabaret as well as theatre for children and families. It is subsidised by the canton and the city and can accommodate up to 687 spectators. The Stadttheater has been directed by Jens Lampater since 2010.
