The "Song of the Bell" is a poem that the German poet Friedrich Schiller published in 1798. It is one of the most famous poems of German literature and with 430 lines one of Schiller's longest. In it, Schiller combines a knowledgeable technical description of a bellfounding with points of view and comments on human life, its possibilities and risks.

2. Stadttheater Schaffhausen

The Stadttheater Schaffhausen is a guest performance house. It is located on Herrenacker, in the centre of Schaffhausen's old town. From September to June, it shows performances in drama, musical theatre, dance and cabaret as well as theatre for children and families. It is subsidised by the canton and the city and can accommodate up to 687 spectators. The Stadttheater has been directed by Jens Lampater since 2010.

3. Munot

The Munot is a circular 16th century fortification in the center of the Swiss city of Schaffhausen. It is surrounded by vineyards and serves as the city's symbol. The ring-shaped fortress was built in the 16th century. Today, it is a tourist attraction and hosts various events.

4. St. Anna-Kapelle

Verdoppelung

Doubling is a stainless steel sculpture by the Swiss artist Roman Signer. It stands on Münsterplatz in Schaffhausen and was specially made for this location in 2021 on behalf of the Kunstverein Schaffhausen. A simple, windowless hut with a gabled roof is topped with an identical, mirrored hut along the gable.

7. Münster Schaffhausen

The Monastery of All Saints or Salvator Monastery in Schaffhausen was a Benedictine abbey and was founded by Eberhard VI of Nellenburg in 1049. Today, the cathedral is a Protestant Reformed parish church.
