The Museum of Russian Icon is the first private museum of Russian icons in Moscow and the second in Russia. It was created on the initiative of Mikhail Abramov (1963-2019), an entrepreneur and philanthropist, owner of the Plaza Development company. It was opened in May 2006 in Moscow. Currently, the museum is located in the center of Moscow on Goncharnaya Street. The collection has about 5000 items.
