The Great Synagogue of Bacău, also known as the Temple of the Grain Workers or the Granaries (Yiddish: פפשוינעקעס שול, read Pepshoinekes Şil, in Aramaic - the original name חברא דחטין Hevra d'hittin- - is a synagogue in the city of Bacău, Romania. It is located at the intersection of Stefan cel Mare Street and 22 December Street with Mioriței Street Not to be confused with the old Great Synagogue in Bacău, known as "Oișie Șil".

The Vivarium of Bacău is a county museum in Bacău, located in Str. Popa Șapcă nr. 3. The Vivarium was established in 1976, in a building that is currently demolished. Since 1981 it has been transferred to a historical monument building, which had as its initial destination a school. The museum presents the following collection of live animals: exotic singing and ornamental birds, exotic and indigenous fish, native reptiles, purebred pigeons, arboreal animals.
