The Great Synagogue of Bacău, also known as the Temple of the Grain Workers or the Granaries (Yiddish: פפשוינעקעס שול, read Pepshoinekes Şil, in Aramaic - the original name חברא דחטין Hevra d'hittin- - is a synagogue in the city of Bacău, Romania. It is located at the intersection of Stefan cel Mare Street and 22 December Street with Mioriței Street Not to be confused with the old Great Synagogue in Bacău, known as "Oișie Șil".

2. Bacovia Theather

The "Costache Sturdza" County Library is located in the municipality of Bacău. It was founded in 1893, its old headquarters being in a heritage building on Ioniță Sandu Sturdza Street no. 1. In the summer of 2005, the library was transferred with the entire book fund to the ground floor of the "Ion Borcea" Museum of Natural Sciences, in Cancicov Park.

5. The Catholic Church of Saint Nicolas

The Catholic Church of Saint Nicolas

The Roman Catholic Church of Saint Nicholas is the oldest Catholic place of worship preserved in Bacău, after the destruction of the old cathedral of the Diocese of Bacău during the floods of 1676. The current church was built between 1845 and 1861 on Buna-Vestire Street, being then called "Bărăția" by the locals. Franz Joseph of Austria also contributed 1,000 guilders to its construction. The church was consecrated on December 6, 1846.
