In November 2008, the statutory name of the museum was changed to Stichting Museum Het Valkhof-Kam. As of 2022, the name Museum became Het Valkhof Museum. Due to renovations, the museum will be closed from 1 October 2022 to spring 2025. From 1 March 2023, a temporary exhibition space will be located on Keizer Karelplein.
