The water tower on the Amstelveenseweg in Amsterdam-Zuid was designed by the architect Piet Elling and built in 1965. It has a height of 40 meters and one water reservoir of 2335 m³. The water reservoir is made of steel, surrounded by an aluminum mantle so that the tower is clearly visible in bright sunlight.
