Parco Savorgnan is a public park in the Venetian district of Cannaregio with a size of about 9500 m². It originally belonged to the neighbouring Palazzo Savorgnan, the residence of the Venetian noble family of the same name, which is now used for educational purposes. The old and partly exotic plant population used to be protected by temporary greenhouses. Today, the park is owned by the Municipality and the Province of Venice and also includes the green area belonging to Palazzo Venier Manfrin. It is one of the rare inner-city green spaces of the lagoon city and is mainly used for recreational purposes. Remnants of the old garden decoration, such as a pavilion, have been preserved.

The "Marco Foscarini" high school is the oldest high school in Venice and one of the oldest in Italy having been founded in 1807 with the decree of Eugenio di Beauharnais, viceroy of Italy and goded from Napoleon I who established six high schools in as many cities of the Kingdom of Italy. At its foundation it was known as High School of Santa Caterina, from the name of the former convent in which it is still based, in the Cannaregio Sestiere a few hundred meters from the bank of the founded nine, and like I.R. Liceal Gymnasium of Santa Caterina from 1850 to 1867.
