Palazzo Delfico is located in Teramo, in the street also named after this historic Teramo family: begun around 1790 by the brothers Giamberardino and Melchiorre Delfico, it was completed after 1820, on the initiative of Gregorio De Filippis Delfico and thanks to the intervention of the engineer Carlo Forti.

The church and convent of the Capuchins of Teramo, a complex already dedicated to St. Benedict, was built, according to the historian Francesco Savini, before 1150. After 1573 it was assigned to the care of the Capuchin Fathers, when it was also known as the church of the Immaculate Conception. It has been a national monument since 1902.
