Individual Sights in MagdeburgSight 1: Wallonerkirche
The Wallonerkirche, including Sankt-Augustini Church, is a Protestant church in the old town of Magdeburg. The church and the grown community center are used both by the Evangelical Lutheran old town as well as by the Evangelical Reformed community of Magdeburg. The Protestant student community has also been using premises of the church since 2004. In addition to the cathedral, St. Sebastian and St. Petri, the Wallonian church is one of the few historical churches of the Magdeburg old town, which are still preserved and used in church.
Sight 2: Universitätskirche Sankt Petri
St. Petri is a Catholic church in Magdeburg's Old Town. It is dedicated to St. Peter, the patron saint of fishermen. It is part of the Romanesque Road.
Sight 3: Neue Synagoge
The New Synagogue in Magdeburg is a Jewish house of worship in the state capital of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is the successor to the Old Synagogue and, after the New Synagogue in Dessau, which was inaugurated in October 2023, the second new synagogue to be built in this state since German reunification. The patron of the construction of the New Synagogue is the Prime Minister of Saxony-Anhalt, Reiner Haseloff. The religious consecration took place on December 8, 2023, with the official opening two days later.

Otto von Guericke was a German scientist, inventor, mathematician and physicist. His pioneering scientific work, the development of experimental methods and repeatable demonstrations on the physics of the vacuum, atmospheric pressure, electrostatic repulsion, his advocacy for the reality of "action at a distance" and of "absolute space" were noteworthy contributions for the advancement of the Scientific Revolution.

The Magdeburg Roland is a figure of Roland in front of the town hall on the Alter Markt in Magdeburg.
Sight 8: Magdeburger Reiter
The Magdeburg Horseman is an equestrian statue that was made around 1240 in the younger Magdeburg workshop. It is an early life-size round equestrian statue of medieval sculpture and is one of the first works of European art history. Two virgins complete it to form a group of figures. The three statues consist of several blocks of fine-grained sandstone. There is a copy on the Alter Markt, the original can be seen in the Kaiser Otto Hall in the Kulturhistorisches Museum Magdeburg.

The St. Johannis Church in Magdeburg is a former church building in the Altstadt district with the address Johannisbergstraße 1. Until its profanation, it was consecrated to John the Evangelist. Since 1999 it has been used as a ballroom and concert hall of the city of Magdeburg. From January to June 2014, it served as a venue for the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt.
Sight 13: Kozlowski-Denkmal
The Kozlowski Monument is a monument erected in Magdeburg in honour of Theodor Kozlowski. The monument, designed as an obelisk, is located on the eastern bank of the River Elbe on the Kleiner Werder street in the Magdeburg district of Werder.
