The Wallonerkirche, including Sankt-Augustini Church, is a Protestant church in the old town of Magdeburg. The church and the grown community center are used both by the Evangelical Lutheran old town as well as by the Evangelical Reformed community of Magdeburg. The Protestant student community has also been using premises of the church since 2004. In addition to the cathedral, St. Sebastian and St. Petri, the Wallonian church is one of the few historical churches of the Magdeburg old town, which are still preserved and used in church.

The patron of the construction of the New Synagogue is the Prime Minister of Saxony-Anhalt, Reiner Haseloff. The religious consecration took place on December 8, 2023, with the official opening two days later.

It is an early life-size round equestrian statue of medieval sculpture and is one of the first works of European art history. Two virgins complete it to form a group of figures. The three statues consist of several blocks of fine-grained sandstone. There is a copy on the Alter Markt, the original can be seen in the Kaiser Otto Hall in the Kulturhistorisches Museum Magdeburg.
