Individual Sights in KuopioSight 1: Siskotyttö

Sister Girl is a bronze sculpture designed by sculptor Taru Mäntynen, located in the Market Square at the western end of Kuopio Market Hall. The person in the sculpture looks diagonally in the direction of City Hall, holding a barometer in his hands. The work was unveiled in 1984.
Sight 2: Velj'mies

The Brothers statue is a bronze sculpture by sculptor Heikki Konttinen from 1959. It is located at Kuopio Market Square at the eastern end of the Market Hall, surrounded by a shower tray.
Sight 3: Kuopion taidemuseo
The Kuopio Art Museum is a regional responsibility museum in Northern Savo. The museum used to be the Regional Art Museum and was born after almost 30 years of plans and temporary exhibition space in 1980.
Sight 4: Kuopio Cathedral
Kuopio Cathedral is a stone Neoclassical-style Evangelical Lutheran church in Kuopio, Finland, and the seat of the Diocese of Kuopio. The cathedral was built between 1806 and 1815. There is a bust of Johan Vilhelm Snellman in the square in front of the cathedral.
Sight 5: Snellmaninpuisto
The Snellman Park is the oldest park in the city of Kuopio, Finland, located at the Vahtivuori district in the city center between the Kauppakatu and Minna Canthin katu streets, in the adjacent block of Kuopio Cathedral. The park covers an area of 1.4 hectares. Today, the park and its surroundings are part of the larger Kuopio National City Park, established in late 2017. The park is named after J. V. Snellman (1806–1881), the senator and the Fennoman, who influenced the affairs of the Grand Duchy from Kuopio, among other places.
Sight 6: J.V. Snellmanin kotimuseo
The J. V. Snellman House Museum is a house museum located in the Väinölänniemi district of Kuopio city centre. The museum displays the family home of J. V. Snellman (1806–81) with its furniture and artefacts. During his years in Kuopio (1845–49), Snellman lived mainly in this house.
