The monument is located in Tartu in front of the new building of the Vanemuine Theatre. The authors of the monument are the sculptor Aili Vahtrapuu, the architect Veronika Valk and the creator of the sound installation Louis Dandrel. The monument was cast in bronze by ARS Monumental, and construction work on the site was carried out by OÜ Tavt. The monument is equipped with music by Eduard Tubin.
