Utterslev Church was originally housed in an old wing of Utterslevgård, after the parish had been separated from Brønshøj Parish in 1938. A new church, designed by Hoff & Windinge, was completed on 8 September 1963. The church is one of the 16 recommended by the Copenhagen diocesan council to be closed. The parish council hoped to close after the church's 50th anniversary on September 8, which was possible, with the church closing on September 12, 2013, which was marked with a final High Mass.
