The Basilica of Saint-Eutrope de Saintes is one of the main Catholic sanctuaries in the city of Saintes, in the French department of Charente-Maritime and the diocese of La Rochelle and Saintes. On May 11, 1886, an apostolic brief from Pope Leo XIII erected the church as a minor basilica.
2. Haras National
The Haras de Saintes was a former establishment of the French Institute of the Horse and Riding (IFCE) whose primary mission was the selection, improvement and conservation of equine breeds. Founded in 1846 and closed in 2018, it was, before its sale in 2019, one of the 23 establishments dependent on the administration of the national stud farms in France.
3. Arch of Germanicus
The Arch of Germanicus is an ancient Roman arch in Saintes, Charente-Maritime in France. It was built in 18 or 19 by a rich citizen of the town, C. Julius Rufus, and dedicated to the emperor Tiberius, his son Drusus Julius Caesar, and his adoptive son Germanicus. It has two bays and was originally sited over the terminus of the Roman road from Lyon to Saintes. On the proposal of Prosper Mérimée in 1843 it was moved fifteen metres during works on quays along the river, and it was restored in 1851.

The Presidial Museum is one of the main museums in the city of Saintes, in the Charente-Maritime department of France. It has been closed to the public since 2009 but houses the fine arts reserves of the Saintais municipal museums.
5. Église Sainte-Marie
The Church of Sainte-Marie is a Roman Catholic church in Saintes, France. For a long time, it was the abbey church of the Abbaye aux Dames, an important monastic establishment until the Revolution reserved for the daughters of the nobility. It is now one of the parish churches of the city, in the same way as the nearby Saint-Pallais church.
