The estate-museum, which is a branch of the Poltava Literary and Memorial Museum of I. P. The estate is included in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine in the status of a monument of national importance.

Sight 6: Monument to Poltava fortress commandant A. S. Kelyn
The monument to the glorious defenders of Poltava and the commandant of the fortress Alexei Kelin is a monument in honor of the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Poltava in Poltava. The monument was erected on June 27, 1909 on the site of the 4th bastion of the Poltava fortress. It is located at the corner of Pervomaiskoy Avenue, Shevchenko and Sadovaya streets. The monument is a granite obelisk on a pedestal. On the obelisk there is a bronze old coat of arms of Poltava, at the foot there is a bronze figure of a lion, on the pedestal there are plaques with memorial inscriptions. Until 1918, the monument was crowned with a bronze sculpture of a double-headed eagle. It is surrounded by a fence of balls-cores, which are interconnected by a chain. The authors are architect O. O. Bilderling, sculptor O. L. Ober. During the Nazi occupation, the bronze parts were taken to Germany. In 1947-1949, they were re-cast in Leningrad and installed, the height of the monument was increased. It was restored in 1949.
