Sight 1: دار الجلولي
Dar Jellouli Museum, also known as the Regional Museum of Arts and Folk Traditions, is an art museum located in Tunisia. It was founded in 1939 by the French scholar on Maghrebi art Lucien Golvin, in a palace located in the heart of the ancient city of Sfax.
Sight 2: Great Mosque
The Great Mosque of Sfax was the most important mosque in the old city of Sfax, Tunisia. It was initially built towards the mid-9th century under the rule of the Aghlabid dynasty, a vassal state of the Abbasid Caliphate. The mosque was the urban and religious heart of the city and it underwent several major modifications in later periods. Architecturally, it is notable for its minaret and its unusually decorated eastern façade.
Sight 3: باب الديوان
Bab Diwan or Bab Bhar is one of the gates of the medina of Sfax. It is located in the southern facade of the old city between Bab Kasbah on the western corner and Bab Borj Ennar on the east.
Sight 4: باب القصبة
Bab El Kasbah is one of the gates of the Medina of Sfax, located in the west of its walls southern facade and gives access to its kasbah.
Sight 5: الباب الغربي
Bab Gharbi or the Western Gate in Arabic is one of the gates of the medina of Sfax. It is located in middle of the western front of the medina fence, next to Cheikh Mansour Hajr Rabat. It opens on Picville neighborhood, through the 18th of January Avenue.
