Djäkneberget is a park area just west of Västerås inner city. The area is about 500 meters long and 250 meters wide. The park is located on a mountain height overlooking, among other things, the cathedral, the City Hall, Skrapan and part of Lake Mälaren. Adjacent to the park is the Djäkneberg School, a primary school that was inaugurated in 1894 and that today houses Västerås Folk High School and Västerås Art School.
