The El Masnou Municipal Nautical Museum is a municipally owned museum, the backbone of which is El Masnou’s relationship with the sea. It is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network, the Maritime Museums of the Catalan Coast Network and the Mediterranean Maritime Museum Association.

The Masnou Water Mine is an underground artificial canal in El Masnou, Maresme. The canal collected groundwater and channeled it to the houses of the town for use through different wells and fountains. In the village there were several water mines. The name of "La Mina d'Aigua del Masnou" refers to the section that can be visited by the Cresta and Malet water mines, which have the entrance to the Plaça d'Ocata.
