The Church of San Julián de los Caballeros de Toro (Zamora) is an old Mozarabic temple rebuilt in the sixteenth century by the architect Rodrigo Gil de Hontañón. Its façade, of Gothic-Renaissance transition, was rebuilt in 1879, moving to it the main doorway, from the old monastery of San Ildefonso and on which it can be read "In this church Catholic worship was kept public in the time of the Saracens". Above the façade there is a large round window, and to its right stands the bell tower, which dates from 1606. The church, rectangular in shape, is structured in three naves of equal height separated by arches and an apse.

The church of San Salvador de los Caballeros in Toro is a work of the early thirteenth century, in Romanesque-Mudejar style. The temple belonged to the Templars until their extinction, at which time it became a parish. It is currently a museum of sacred art where pieces that have been arriving from the different closed parishes or with little possibility of safekeeping are kept. A scale model of this building is located in the Mudéjar Theme Park in Olmedo.

Sight 10: Ermita de Nuestra Señora del Canto

The Hermitage of Nuestra Señora del Canto is a religious temple located in the city of Toro (Zamora). Inside resides the image of the Virgen del Canto, which is a sculpture from the twelfth century and is the patron saint of the city. During the feast of the Patron Saint that is celebrated on September 8, the day of the Nativity of the Virgin of Song, the faithful of Toro and its alfoz go to her to make a floral offering, celebrate the Eucharist and sing "the Salve" to their patron saint.
