Its name pays homage to Marià Fortuny i Marsal, a Catalan painter born in Reus. The monument is made up of the Fortuny Theater and the headquarters of the "El Círcol Society", located in Plaça de Prim núm. 4. The building as a whole is a work declared a cultural asset of national interest.

The monument to Prim is a sculptural monument located in the center of the Plaza de Prim in the municipality of Reus included in the Inventory of Architectural Heritage of Catalonia as a Cultural Asset of Local Interest. The monument is dedicated to the Catalan military and politician Joan Prim i Prats, President of the Council of Ministers of Spain and one of the creators of the Revolution of 1868. It was opened in 1893 and is the work of the sculptor Lluís Puiggener i Fernández and the architect Pere Caselles i Tarrats who designed the foot.
