Ibiza's Cathedral of the Virgin of the Snows is located in Dalt Vila in Ibiza Town. It was built on the site of the ancient Yebisah mosque. It is a cathedral built in the thirteenth century of the Gothic-Catalan period, although the nave is in the Baroque style. In 1782 the bishopric of Ibiza was officially created, with which the temple acquired cathedral rank.
