The castle of San Pedro de Huelva was a medieval castle located in the city of Huelva of Arab origin and belonging to the Dukes of Medina Sidonia. It was located in the Cabezo de San Pedro, in the old center of the city in, the Archaeological Site of the Cabezo de San Pedro Cerro de San Pedro. registered in the General Catalogue of Andalusian Historical Heritage with a specific character by the Order of the Minister of Culture of 14-5-01. [citation needed] and under the protection of the Generic Declaration of the Decree of 22 April 1949, and Law 16/1985 on Spanish Historical Heritage.
