The Museum of the Empordà is an art museum in Figueres, Catalonia (Spain). Its history dates back to 1885, when the first collections arrived from the Prado Museum, bringing together a collection of artworks from the Catalan art scene and the Empordà in particular. The collection includes archaeological works, medieval art and Baroque paintings. Built in 1946, the building was opened in 1971. From 1998 onwards it has been managed by a consortium made up of Figueres Town Council, the Regional Council of Alt Empordà and the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation. As of 2015 the consortium has been dissolved, and the museum is managed by the Department of Culture of Figueres Town Council.

The Toy Museum of Catalonia in Figueres was inaugurated in 1982 in the premises of the old "Hotel París" on the Rambla in Figueres. Recent renovation and adaptation works have made it possible to triple the initial space of the Museum, which reopened on 12 December 1998. It is part of the Network of Local Museums of Catalonia-Girona.

Naked Gala Looking at the Sea, which at 18 meters reveals President Lincoln, is a painting made by the Spanish painter Salvador Dalí around 1975. This oil and photograph on wood panel depicts Gala Dalí naked from behind in a composition that from a distance reveals a large portrait of Abraham Lincoln. It is kept at the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation, in Figueres. A later smaller canvas version is in the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida.
