The Church of Santa María de la Asunción of the town and municipality of Castro-Urdiales (Spain), known locally as the Cathedral of Santa María, is a Gothic style Catholic temple built between the thirteenth and fifteenth century that is located in front of the Cantabrian Sea, next to the Castillo-Faro and next to the fisheries of the city.

The Castle of Santa Ana, also cited sometimes as Castillo-Faro de Santa Ana, is a fortress located on a rocky promontory in Castro-Urdiales, in a peninsula where the fortified church is also the Fortified Church.
