Since 1931 it has been an Asset of Cultural Interest and since 2001 it has been a World Heritage Site as part of the declaration Cultural Landscape of Aranjuez.

The King's Garden is a historic garden located next to the Royal Palace of Aranjuez, Spain. Made in the second half of the sixteenth century, its composition mixes the Hispano-Muslim heritage and Italian Renaissance influences, and is one of the few examples of Renaissance landscape painting in Spain. Since 1931 it has been an Asset of Cultural Interest and since 2001 it has been a World Heritage Site as part of the declaration Cultural Landscape of Aranjuez.
