Individual Sights in PezinokSight 1: Mestské múzeum
The Municipal Museum in Pezinok is a regional museum. It deals with the history of the city and art. It is located in the premises of the Renaissance Town Hall at 1 M. R. Štefánika Street. The founder of the museum is the city of Pezinok. The grand opening of the museum took place on September 18, 2003.
Sight 2: Kostol Premenenia Pána
The Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord is a Catholic church in the historic center of Pezinok. It is located on the Town Hall Square at the registration number 3567, with the main entrance from Holubyho Street. It is a three-nave building with galleries on three sides. The main nave is vaulted with cross vaults.
Sight 3: Evanjelický kostol
The Evangelical Church in Pezinok is a classicist church located on Potočná Street in the historic center of the city, which was declared a national cultural monument on February 28, 2018. The building has a rectangular floor plan and was built in 1783. Between 1858 and 1863, the church was modified and expanded with a new tower.
Sight 4: Kostol Nanebovzatia Panny Márie
The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Pezinok was built around 1280 as a three-nave church of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The predominant character is the late Gothic character from the 2nd half of the 15th century, combined with neo-Gothic elements, elements of the Renaissance and Baroque are also present. There was a cemetery in the area. From this period, the polygonal pile of the baptismal font and the epitaph of Count Juraj have been preserved.
Sight 5: Kapucínsky kostol Najsvätejšej Trojice
The Church of the Holy Trinity is a Catholic church in the historic center of Pezinok, located at Holubyho Street No. 91. It was built in the first half of the 16th century. It is a Baroque single-nave church, which has a sanctuary divided by an altar into two parts – the sanctuary itself and an oratory for monks behind the altar. It is entered through a tunnel.
Sight 6: Zámocký Park
The Castle Park in Pezinok is a park belonging to the Pezinok Castle on Mladoboleslavská Street in Pezinok. The castle park was built in 1844 by František Pálfi. On July 17, 1963, it became a cultural monument.
