Sight 4: Synagóga
The synagogue in Banská Štiavnica was built in 1893. It is located on Novozámocká 5 in Banská Štiavnica. The synagogue itself is made up of the atrial room and the main hall. The building was probably created already in the Gothic period and was later rebuilt into a Renaissance style and only in the 19th century it was only used for sacral purposes after adjustment. The Jewish community was financed by the rebuilding itself. In 1941, sacral activity in this building was suspended and since the 1950s there was a lamp workshop and later a car school. Currently it belongs to the Banská Štiavnice urban reservation and is also included in the UNESCO list as well as the National Cultural Monuments List.
Sight 5: Kostol Nanebovzatia Panny Márie
The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Banská Štiavnica is originally a Romanesque basilica from the 30s of the 13th century. It also included the building of the monastery behind the church and later also the building of the rectory next to the church.

Sight 6: Banská Štiavnica
Banská Štiavnica is a town in central Slovakia, in the middle of an immense caldera created by the collapse of an ancient volcano. For its size, the caldera is known as the Štiavnica Mountains. Banská Štiavnica has a population of more than 10,000. It is a completely preserved medieval town. Because of their historical value, the town and its surroundings were proclaimed by the UNESCO to be a World Heritage Site on December 11, 1993.
