The Church of São Pedro is located in the city of Faro and is a primitive hermitage built by sailors. It was enlarged due to the transfer of the new parish headquarters, and was completely rebuilt in the mid-16th century. On the façade, the portico is framed by two pairs of Ionic columns that support the cornice topped with a niche, with the statue of St. Peter.

The Chapel of São Luís is a building in Faro. Located on the old outskirts of the city, this religious temple is located in front of the stadium of the same name. It is a seventeenth-century construction with deep remodeling at the beginning of the nineteenth century on the initiative of Bishop Dom Francisco Gomes do Avelar and stamp of the Genoese architect Francisco Xavier Fabri. It has a neoclassical carved altarpiece on the main altar.
