Sight 1: Kasteel Heusden
Heusden Castle is a ruined major castle in Heusden.
Sight 2: Grote of Sint-Catharinakerk
The Grote or Sint-Catharinakerk is the Protestant church of Heusden.
Sight 3: Lutherse Kerk
The Lutheran Church is the church building of the Evangelical Lutheran congregation in Heusden, North Brabant.
Sight 4: Molen I
Mill I is one of the three Walmolens that is still on the ramparts of the Dutch city of Heusden.
Sight 5: Molen II
Mill II is one of the three windmills that stand on the ramparts of the city of Heusden. The others are called Mill I and Mill III. The mill was completely rebuilt in 1972-1973, only the upper shaft was second-hand.
Sight 6: Veerpoort
The Veerpoort, also known as the Waterpoort, is a reconstructed city gate in the North Brabant city of Heusden. Until its demolition, the gate was one of the four city gates of Heusden. The original gate was preserved in 1579 when the new fortifications were designed, which were built between 1613 and 1620. The Veerpoort did get a small stone bastion in front of the door. The current gate, built in 1974, was built on the original foundations.
Sight 7: Molen III
Mill III is one of the three windmills that stands on the ramparts of the city of Heusden. The mill was the last of the three mills to be rebuilt during the reconstruction of the fortress. Construction was completed in 1975. The Maasmolen served as an example during construction.
