Sight 1: Keatsmuseum
The Keatsmuseum is a museum dedicated to the Frisian game of kaats. It is located in the city of Franeker in the Dutch province of Friesland.
Sight 2: Museum Martena
Museum Martena is the city museum of Franeker in the province of Friesland. The portrait museum houses various collections whose roots lie in Franeker's art and cultural history. In 2020, the museum won the RAAK Incentive Prize, which was used to develop the Aaitoer: a special tour of the museum for visitors with a visual, auditory or physical disability.

11Fountains are a group of fountains in the Frisian eleven cities that were placed in the context of Leeuwarden-Fryslân in 2018. It is a city marketing initiative. The fountains were created by various international visual artists under the guidance of curator Anna Tilroe. The eleven fountains were unveiled simultaneously on 18 May 2018. The Ice Fountain in Dokkum was put into operation on 22 February 2019.

Arkens is a Hollow Post mill in Franeker, Friesland, Netherlands which has been restored to working order. The mill is listed as a Rijksmonument, number 15710. It shares its name with the eponymous hamlet, just north of Franeker, Arkens.
