The 29 cottages, divided into two courtyards, are grouped around a herb garden. There is also a statue of two beguines in conversation. It is located close to the Park Valkenberg.
Sight 7: Ruiterstandbeeld Stadhouder Willem III
The Monument of King-Stadholder William III is an equestrian statue on the Kasteelplein in the city center of Breda. It is within walking distance of Breda Castle and the Beguinage. The statue was unveiled on 8 October 1921 and was designed by Toon Dupuis.

Sight 10: Huis van Brecht
The Huis van Brecht is a building in the center of Breda on the grounds of Breda Castle. It is built of stone and dates from the second half of the fourteenth century. Gouvaert van Brecht bought it in 1530 and enlarged the house with a gallery. After the ruse with the peat ship of Breda, the Spanish family fled to Liège and became the home of the Breda city council.
Sight 11: Grote Kerk
The Grote Kerk or Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk is the most important monument and a landmark of Breda. The church is built in the Brabantine Gothic style. The tower of the church is 97 meters tall. The plan is in the shape of a Latin Cross.
Sight 12: Spanjaardsgat
The Spanjaardsgat is a water gate that lies between the Garnet Tower and the Pigeon Tower of Breda Castle in the center of Breda. The water gate can normally only be seen from the outside, but on guided tours of the castle grounds it can also be seen from the inside. The Spanjaardsgat is located near the Port of Breda.
