The Monnikendam is a still existing water gate in the Dutch city of Amersfoort. Under this water gate, the water of the Heiligenbergerbeek flows into the city centre. The gate consists of two towers, which are connected by a gate arch, and stands on the east side of the city center.

Randenbroek is a originally medieval house and estate, now Stadspark in Amersfoort, located on the edge of a swampy area (pants), on one of the sand heights east of the Heiligenbergerbeek that runs along the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
