Castillo Ortega-Douglas, also known as Castillo Douglas, is a castle-like house in central Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes, Mexico. Designed by Federico Mariscal and supervised by J. Refugio Reyes Rivas, it was built for Edmundo Ortega Douglas, whose maternal grandfather, John Douglas (1849–1918), had emigrated to Mexico from Scotland. The house is notable for having the features of a medieval castle, including a moat, a drawbridge, battlements, turrets, and a stained glass window.

The Church of Saint Anthony of Padua is a Catholic church and monument in downtown Aguascalientes, Mexico, built between 1895 and 1908. The church is widely considered the masterpiece of Refugio Reyes Rivas, a mason who went to become one of the most influential architects in the region. In this work Rivas departed from any specific style, explicitly choosing an eclectic architecture drawing from neoclassical, baroque, Russian and even gothic and Islamic influences. The building was originally commissioned by the franciscans, but it is currently managed by the Order of Saint Augustine.

The Ex-escuela de Cristo Gallery, also known as Escuela Pía or antiguo escuela Pía, is a cultural space located on the old Relox Street today Andador Juárez, in the historic center of the city of Aguascalientes, a few blocks from the Cathedral of Aguascalientes. It was inaugurated as an artistic space in 2004 belonging to the Cultural Institute of Aguascalientes, and is the venue for exhibitions, artistic presentations, cultural tianguis, awards and other events.

The Morelos Theater is a historic building located in the City of Aguascalientes, which was built between 1883 and 1885. It is best known because it was chosen as the setting and meeting point for the Sovereign Revolutionary Convention of October 1914, where most of the generals and leaders of the Mexican Revolution met. It is one of the most representative buildings of the city, also located in the main square, next to the city's cathedral.
