Individual Sights in VercelliSight 1: Castello Visconteo
The Visconti Castle of Vercelli is a medieval castle in Vercelli, Piedmont, Northern Italy. Erected at the end of the 13th century, it underwent subsequent transformation to be changed in its use. Today it is the seat of the Tribunal of Vercelli.
Sight 2: Chiesa di Santa Maria Maggiore
The church of Santa Maria Maggiore is a religious building in Vercelli of which it is a co-cathedral. It has the dignity of a minor basilica. It was originally built at the behest of the Jesuit order, based on a project by Filippo Juvarra dated 1734, with the title of church of the Holy Trinity. In 1773, with the suppression of the Jesuits, it was exchanged by the Cathedral Chapter with the ancient church of Santa Maria Maggiore, which stood not far away, thus assuming its title.
Sight 3: Museo Camillo Leone
The Leone Museum, opened in Vercelli in 1910 at the sixteenth-century Casa Alciati and the baroque Palazzo Langosco, houses a heterogeneous and eclectic collection: prehistoric weapons, grave goods from Egyptian tombs, Etruscan vases, medieval mosaics, porcelain, silver and paintings from the modern era. The Roman room is of great impact, with the famous Celtic-Latin stele that in 1991 opened the exhibition of the Celts in Venice.

The Vercelli Synagogue is an Orthodox Jewish congregation and synagogue, located at Via Foà 70, in Vercelli, Italy. Designed in the Moorish Revial style by Marco Treves, an architect born in Vercelli who also designed the Great Synagogue of Florence, the synagogue was completed in 1878.
