The Kronos Museum of the Cathedral of Piacenza is housed in the rooms of the former Provost, close to the sacred building, in the heart of the city of Piacenza. In its rooms it exhibits a rich heritage of art and culture ranging from the twelfth to the twentieth century, coming from the cathedral and churches in the area. The tour of the museum is enriched by a suggestive climb to the Guercino Dome, through walkways carved out in the Middle Ages inside the thickness of the cathedral's walls.

Piacenza Cathedral, fully the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta e Santa Giustina, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Piacenza, Italy. The current structure was built between 1122 and 1233 and is one of the most valuable examples of a Romanesque cathedral in northern Italy. The dedication is to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and to Saint Justina. It is the seat of the diocese of Piacenza-Bobbio.

Palazzo Comunale is a Gothic style palace located facing Piazza del Cavalli in the historic center of Piacenza, northern Italy which now serves as the seat of municipal administration. The facade is flanked by two bronze equestrian statues sculpted by Francesco Mochi and depicting the Farnese Dukes of Parma: Ranuccio (1612–20) and his father, Alexander (1620-1629). Across the piazza is the late-Baroque or early neoclassic Palazzo del Governatore (1787) designed by Lotario Tomba. Recessed and to the right is the 17th-century Collegio dei Mercanti.
