The landing at the ship, known simply as Fontana la Nave, is a monumental fountain located in Pescara in Largo Mediterraneo. Built in 1987 by the sculptor Pietro Cascella, the work symbolically represents a galley, an ancient rowing boat, conceived as a re-enactment of the city's seafaring history and the sufferings suffered by the prisoners of the Bourbon fortress, forced to work as oarsmen on Spanish ships in the nineteenth century.
