The monument to the fallen of Como is an imposing tower, 30 meters high, open by large windows and completely covered with Aurisina and Reppen stone.
Sight 3: Tempio Voltiano
The Tempio Voltiano is a museum in the city of Como, Italy that is dedicated to Alessandro Volta, a prolific scientist and the inventor of the electrical battery. Volta was born in Como in 1745, held his first professorship there until 1779, and retired to Como in 1819.
Sight 4: The Life Electric
Life Electric is a contemporary sculpture, dedicated to the physicist Alessandro Volta (1745–1827). Completed in 2015 it is located in Como, Italy. Life Electric was designed by Daniel Libeskind, and was a gift to Como, the city where the architect located his “Summer Session” school of architecture, in 1988. The sculpture was commissioned by the non profit association “Gli amici di Como”. The design of the fountain illustrates the evolution of modern architecture that took place over the period from 1920s to modern days, with the emergence of Rationalism. Libeskind's creation has carried on the tradition of contemporary art in Como, and raised its profile.

Sight 6: Cathedral of Como
Como Cathedral is the Catholic cathedral of the city of Como, Lombardy, Italy, and the seat of the Bishop of Como. It is dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Sight 7: Chiesa di Sant'Agostino
The church of Sant'Agostino is a place of Catholic worship of Como, dedicated to the saint of the same name. It is the only cistercian Gothic church in the city. Inside is preserved the canvas of the Birth of Mary of Morazzone.
