Sight 1: Politeama Giuseppe Verdi
The Politeama Theatre in Carrara, which occupies the entire north side of the nineteenth-century Piazza Farini, was one of the last projects made for Carrara by the engineer Leandro Caselli. The Politeama is part of a quadrangular block with the façade facing the square: the façade consists of two orders of overlapping arches and the interior is decorated with sober and elegant motifs.
