Book Ticket*The Greek Orthodox Church of St. Gabriel, also known as the (Greek) Orthodox Church of the Annunciation, is an Eastern Orthodox church in Nazareth, Israel. It is one of two claimants to the site of the Annunciation - where angel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary and announced that she would give birth to Jesus - the other being the Catholic Basilica of the Annunciation.
Sight 2: The Ancient Bath House
The Ancient Bath House of Nazareth was discovered in the late 1990s by Elias and Martina Shama during renovations inside their shop near Mary's Well in Nazareth. Archaeologists that examined the bath house have assigned its construction to various periods, the oldest of these being the Greek or Roman period in Palestine.
Sight 3: Al-Masjid Al-Abyadh
The White Mosque is an Ottoman-era mosque in Nazareth, Israel. It is located in Harat Alghama or the "Mosque Quarter" in the centre of Nazareth's Old Market. The mosque's pencil-shaped minaret, cream-coloured walls, and green-coloured trim and dome are an example of the Ottoman architecture that is commonly found throughout the city.
