St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica, also called Veszprém Cathedral, is a religious building of the Catholic Church that serves as the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Veszprém and is located in the city of Veszprém, Hungary.

Sight 3: Boldog Gizella kápolna
The Gizella Chapel is the oldest building in Veszprém. The once two-storey chapel is located in the castle district, between the archbishop's and the grand provost's palaces. Its 13th-century frescoes are among the oldest in Hungary; Its vault keystones and chapters decorated with dragon figures are also unique. Although its original patron saint is unknown, an inscription placed above its gate in 1938 proclaims: Memoriae Beatae Giselae Sacrum, i.e. dedicated to the memory of Blessed Gisela.
Sight 4: Érseki palota
The Archbishop's Palace in Veszprém is one of the most significant buildings of the castle in Veszprém. The building was built between 1765 and 1776 according to the plans of Jakab Fellner. The Bishop's Palace – since 1993 – is one of the outstanding masterpieces of Hungarian Baroque architecture. The building, typically in Baroque style, forms a U-shape. The remains of the old buildings were incorporated into the palace, and then the remaining ruins of the old royal or old bishop's palace disappeared. Its library has about 60,000 volumes.
