The Sonnenstein Castle is a castle in Pirna, near Dresden, Germany. It housed a mental hospital, which operated from 1811 to the end of World War II in 1945. The Pirna City Bridge is a 295.45 m long bridge over the Elbe River in Pirna, built in 1875. As a combined road and railway bridge, the stone arch bridge carries the state road 164 and the Kamenz–Pirna railway line and connects the western suburb of Pirna, close to the centre, with the northern district of Copitz at kilometre 34.34 on the Elbe. To distinguish it from the Sachsenbrücke, which was completed in 1999, the bridge has been given the name "Stadtbrücke" by the city of Pirna.
