The castle chapel in Monschau is a listed church building on the edge of Monschau Castle and was the first church in the village until 1650. It was first mentioned in 1369 and placed under the patronage of Saints Martin and Joseph. Since 1917, the chapel has been owned by the neighboring Maria-Hilf-Stift and has served as a communication center for the old people's home there since 1980.

The Church of St. Mary's Nativity is a listed Baroque church building in Monschau in the Aachen city region of North Rhine-Westphalia. It was built from 1649 to 1650 by the Premonstratensian Fathers of the former monastery of Reichenstein near Kalterherberg and on the initiative of their prior, Stephan Horrichem, as the first parish church in the community.

Sight 5: Pauls’sches Haus

The Pauls'sche Haus is a typical representative Monschau town house, which was built in the second half of the 18th century. The client was Paul Christoph Scheibler. In 1824 it was acquired by Hermann Pauls. It has been owned by the city since 1921. The house with house numbers 1 to 3 is located on the city road directly on the Rur and is registered in the Monschau monument register under monument number 25.
