The Brahms monument in the art and culture city of Meiningen is dedicated to the composer and conductor Johannes Brahms (1833–1897) and was erected in 1899.
Sight 2: Bechsteinbrunnen
The Bechstein Fountain, also known as the Fairy Tale Fountain, is a fountain built in 1909 in the city of Meiningen. It is dedicated to the writer, archivist, collector of fairy tales and legends Ludwig Bechstein (1801–1860). The fountain, created by Robert Diez, is located on a main path in the English Garden.

Sight 6: Goetz-Höhle
The Goetz cave is a demolition column cavity in Thuringia. It is located on the western outskirts of Meiningen am Dietrichsberg in the middle of the mountain slope to the Werra. The cave is a natural and ground monument and is considered the largest cave of this type in Germany. It is also the only developed and accessible gap and column cavity in Europe. The fissures and columns were created about 25,000 years ago by slipping the slope to the Werra, which is still going on.
