Individual Sights in IsmaningSight 1: St. Johann Baptist
The listed Roman Catholic parish church of St. Johann Baptist in Ismaning, Kirchplatz 1, is the fourth of the well-known St. John's churches with the church patron John the Baptist, all of which were built on the same, slightly elevated site east of the Seebach.
Sight 2: Kriegerdenkmal (1. Weltkrieg)
The listed war memorial on Schloßstraße in Ismaning (Upper Bavaria) is a stone sculpture about two meters high. It shows two lions walking upright on a stone cuboid and a wounded one lying on the ground next to them. The monument first commemorated the 100 men from the municipality of Ismaning who fell in the First World War. It was inaugurated in a ceremonial act on 24 May 1924 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the local veterans' and warriors' association.
