Show sight on map

The Thalheimsche Haus in Eberbach in the Rhein-Neckar district in northern Baden-Württemberg is the oldest stone house in the village. It takes its name from its former owners, the Lords of Talheim, and in the course of its history was the Electoral Palatinate official winery, princely Leiningen's hunting lodge and town hall of the village. Today, the building houses an information centre of the Neckartal-Odenwald Nature Park.

The Old Bathhouse in Eberbach in the Rhein-Neckar district in Baden-Württemberg dates back to the town's late medieval bathhouse, in which a bather maintained bathing operations until 1708. The listed half-timbered house, which has a three-nave groin vault in the basement and has already been hit by numerous floods of the Neckar, is now home to a restaurant.

Sight 3: Michaelskirche

Show sight on map

The Protestant St. Michael's Church in Eberbach in the Rhein-Neckar district in northwestern Baden-Württemberg was built between 1835 and 1841. It was not until 1976 that the church was renamed "Evangelische Stadtkirche" to "Michaelskirche" due to the erroneous assumption that a late medieval chapel dedicated to St. Michael had stood on the same site. This misunderstanding arose due to confusion in the written history of the city. In fact, on the site of today's St. Michael's Church, there were two chapels dedicated to St. Mary. Only in the Catholic church, located elsewhere in the city, there was an altar to St. Michael.
